I don't really know. I think that we must have come from somewhere, that we didn't just get here by chance but then I think that if God was real he would stop things like wars from happening.
i agree with spider monkey if god was real he would stop wars and illnesses.
I think that although the existance of God is written in the Bible there are many theories that are out there that can all be linked in someway. The Da Vinci Code is an example. I think that it is a case of you believe what you want to believe.
Yo, i think that God could be real but is a bit far fetched i personally don't take God as a big deal in my life i think that my world is more science than religion but i believe that everyone has to believe in something and although i have my own oppinion everyone has a different oppinion and believing is a compromise unless you are certaqin for your own eyes!!!

What evidence is the person talking about? I think there is more evidence to say God doesn't exist wars disease and all that. I think we can trust science because they do give evidence. Religion is just opinion.
I dont agree with Meerkat or hamster. If someone's had a prayer answered or felt God near them they would know he is real. Science doesn't give us all the answers and they don't always get it it right.
god could be real but i personaly do not believe in it! and to be honest i don't really know of any "overwhelming" evidence of it. And i think that science can answer most of the questions, why we are here.

if god was so powerfull to create people then why cant he save people?! you get so many people these days dying of cancer and other illnesses! if there was a god who made the world and all of the creatures in it then i dont understand why he hasnt got the power to stop war and death!

people have fuond eveidence of oceans on other planets which would mean we could survive on them.
so maybe the same thing happened millions of years ago! maybe there was another planet with far to many people on it so they found another one (earth) and sent people there by rockets or something! i believe that its far moer believable that a guy who created adam an eve?!

I think that it is dependent on the person, if the person truly beleives in god then it is real to them.But on the other hand if you don't beleive then it is just another book.

I think that believing in God is about what u experience, not lots of evidence. I do think the world is pretty amazing though and think it was made, not an accident.

Yo, this week is about how we got here i think, and i don't personally believe that religion is not the answer to how we got here. I believe the scientific theories, we are made of atoms and etc.. and that is fact believe it or don't but religion is not the answer to how we got here.

The only evidence of God is a bible which is a collecion of stories made by man. I think God is wish-full thinking, it's something to believe in to see you thorough life and to draw comfort from in troubled times. People think you go to Heaven so this will take away the fear of death. If God did create the World then why doesn't he give us a physical sign to show his exsistence. If God did create the Earth what was his purpose? For those people who say why dosen't God stop wars and disease this is because if God does exist then he gave man free will and we must live with the consequences. i do not realy know what i think at this moment in time. i think that the big bang sounds more realistic but as i said i am not 100% possitive! i have an open mind and are willing to belive what sounds more realistic.

A few good comments guys. Let's have a bit of detail. The whole point of the blog (and using an animal codename) is that you can say what you think and no one in the class knows who has said it. This should allow us to have real debate.
A few thoughts...aren't some beliefs really dangerous (look at the twin towers and London Bombings? So not all religion can be good and true. It is important to question beliefs.
Secondly...is most of human suffering caused by humans or is it natural?
